Meal Plan to Lose Weight (Day 26)

Quick Healthy Breakfast

Brown Rice Flour Pancakes with Banana Slices and Real Maple Syrup

Brown rice is healthier than white rice because it undergoes less processing and therefore less stripping of nutrients from each layer of the rice kernel. Though brown rice has the same amount of calories white rice does, it's denser in nutrients like vitamins, magnesium and fiber.

Today's quick healthy breakfast pancakes used brown rice flour, which is finely-ground and easy to work with. It was mixed in with eggs to create a tasty stack of pancakes. The pancakes were then drizzled with real maple syrup--I highly recommend Coombs Family Farms 100% Organic Maple Syrup, by the way--and topped with slices of banana. It was an easy, healthy and tasty breakfast.
